Corie Keane

Hi my name is Corie, I live in Celbridge and I am married with two children. I have been part of the Happy Days team since 2010 working in the preschool and after school.  In 2006 I decided to go back to education and did my work experience in Happy Days as I was doing Special Needs Assistant Training as part of a Fetac level 5 certificate, whilst doing my work experience I saw first hand the care and dedication that the team had in providing quality care to each individual child, and so I enrolled my youngest in Montessori for the following September and he enjoyed every minute.

Since starting in Happy Days I have completed both Fetac level 5 & 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education and in 2017 I completed my BA in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children as it is both challenging and rewarding, it’s important to me to provide the children in my care with a safe, challenging and nurturing environment that will help them have positive outlooks on learning and will also help them build positive relationships with others. I have learned that in working with children no two days are the same and I think it’s what helps to keep me feeling young!!
